Effective January 1 2024, Elizabeth Mauch was appointed to serve as Chancellor by the Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n

Elizabeth Mauch recently began serving as the seventh Chancellor of ³ΙΘΛΏμ²₯.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mauch served as the fifteenth president of Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.\u00a0 She had previously served Bethany as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the College.\u00a0 Under her leadership, Bethany College implemented a collaborative strategic plan, campus master plan and a vision to lead the college through 2026. During her tenure, she has led the college in raising $35 million for building renovations, strategic programming, and a cohesive brand campaign designed to increase enrollment.\u00a0 Mauch was a member of the Executive Committee of the Presidents\u2019 Council of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Council (KCAC) and was a board member of the Birger Sandz\u00e9n Memorial Art Gallery.\u00a0 In May and June 2019, Dr. Mauch served as a Fulbright Specialist in Poland.\u00a0 She taught and collaborated with science and engineering faculty at \u0141\u00f3d\u017a University of Technology in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, Poland on the topic of flipped classrooms.<\/p>\n

Previously, she served as Dean of the College of Education at Bloomsburg University from 2009-2017.\u00a0 She led the college to the largest university gift at the time from Mrs. Susan McDowell to launch the McDowell Institute for Teacher Excellence in Positive Behavior Support.\u00a0 In addition, she launched the Regional STEM Education Center in collaboration with faculty, regional school districts, and business leaders.\u00a0 She also served as a professor of mathematics at Bloomsburg University.<\/p>\n

Dr. Mauch received her masters and Ph.D. in mathematics from Lehigh University and her undergraduate degree in mathematics from Moravian College where she also completed the requirements necessary to receive her Instructional I Teaching Certificate from the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.\u00a0 In addition, Dr. Mauch completed the Institute for Management and Leadership Education at Harvard University.\u00a0 She received the Benigna Education Award from Moravian in recognition of her service to higher education.<\/p>\n
